he won't see which way they go in the sires,his win yesterday looked a more impressive,than it actually was

Time will tell.  But the horse didn't seem to know what it was all about in the early stages, at least.

Agree that the ones following might not be superstars.

If i was the owner of this horse i would ORDER the trainer to bypass the Sires and hope for a run in the 1600m TJ-Smith. The 1400m will be way too short for him at that level.

If he missed a run in the TJ, i'd aim for the Australia Post stakes, another set weights race  around the same trip.
