So if it was gone, how did it win????    Just because a dog is headed does not mean it is gone

Maybe you should get some vision before you start slagging off the caller champ.

Two dogs put a couple of lengths on it coming to the top turn and looked like they were going to fight out the race.

I watched the race and the replay mate and i will say this. A dog is never gone in a race and it was a ridiculous call to say it was. Wow it was headed a couple of lengths??????  So no dog has ever won after being headed before???  The call was a poor one and an experienced caller should know better.

He said it was gone, and you are saying it was as well, then how did it win ????    Undecided

mask, you must admit, you don't often see a leader get headed off by 2 dogs, that by what i read here, put 2l on it,and it comes again and wins, please mask, even you have to admit its rare

Mate anyone who knows anything about greyhound racing, knows that Nitrane is a a bludger and has come  back to win on numerous occassions after being headed. Testa declared it was gone after it was overtaken to a couple of lengths????  It was a poor call by an experienced caller and the fact it came back to win after being headed by afew lengths proves that.
If it was overtaken and they put 10 lengths on it then ok, but 2 lengths in greyhound racing is two decent bounds

I admit I haven't followed the dogs too closely lately to know his racing pattern, but when they went around him coming to the home turn he looked gone.  I've watched a fair few dog races, and the number of dogs that come back to win after being headed like that is minimal.

Of course I don't have your ability to see 10 seconds into the future, or I wouldn't have agreed with Testa.

Your also saying Testa has that ability as well by saying it, a known bludger, was gone. Nitrane can run 29.70 one night and get beaten in 30.70 the next.  I suggest before you actually have a go at me for bagging Testa, you might want to actually understand what Nitrane is like as a chaser. Testa obviously doesn't and for a racecaller.... that's not the best.
