We are all entiled to our opinion. He has an opinion.

He profits from it. Get over it. DD if you are that

off that he makes money out of this, start your own site.

He is entitled to make an opinon---don't like it--move on.

As an after thought---well out in front on his tips this financial year--less the $200 cost---I am very happy.

does he stand by a statement like this that is still on the website.

"Also highly regarded in the Queensland Derby was New South Wales chaff bandit Bid Spotter, who was going for four in a row, but he was gone before the turn. He got in about 7pm on Sunday night."

Is he in the habit of using the runs of horses that suffer severe interference and nearly fall and whose jockeys are injured as a result to make a point in favour of his opinion? wink

So first he was an outstanding form analyst, then he became an outstanding journalist. Apparently from there he became Australias' best conditioner of horses( when you bag Bart Cummings etc. You must be better than them) and now according to his latest rant Phill is also a master Greenkeeper/curator and can do better than anyone else.
It takes a whole family of Freedmans to achieve what Phill can do.
Oh Wait.... The Freedmans actually do all of those things , not just bag everyone else that does.

We all get it wrong--so I agree with you--and we all sometimes get it right---win some lose some--we are punters---I will say that he gets it right most of the time---so if I choose to subscribe---my choice---I'm still in front for last financial year---pick on certain comments--is just being too picky---I but don't really care---I have said before---stirrers change things---he might be for the better chin

Yes--all are entitled of their opinion. But :censored:some of them get so hung up that he is charging/makeing a profit in what he does---you are doing the same thing with your training invoices--nothing wrong with that--

we all trying to make a living.

this is a post race comment designed to pump up his ego and his opinion and it is a straight out load of Bullshit and what do you call someone who does something like this in an attempt to garner financial gain.

a clue starts with C and ends with man.

We both know the answer is because he is wrong more than he is right and cant make a living on the punt. So that makes the people who buy the information of someone who cant win himself complete imbeciles.

It isn't compulsory to buy his info so I say good luck to him.

He has made the mistake of criticizing a few sensitive people on his site so will always get bagged here lol

And I don't have a problem with him selling tips, if people wish to pay for them and are happy doing so that is completely up to them. I don't think you will see any succesful punters selling their tips though, kind of counter productive.

Phill does make some good points at times and I believe what he does is generally ok.
To say the fence was off and the track was a disgrace etc is easy to say but what could have been done to prevent the 'disgrace'? The rail was out significantly for nearly 2 months leading up to the cup which generally makes the inside a better surface.He needs to tell the track manager how to fix it.
As for his bagging of Bart and others, from memory he was having a go at Bart because he won a Melbourne Cup with an otherwise average horse which is exactly why he is in the Hall of Fame
