At last, the fictional subscribers have found a winner.
Only THEY knew that Lucky Luna had been "sectionally dominant" at the GC last month.
Gee, ya'd need to be blind to have missed his run a EF last outing.
I mean, how can any punter afford NOT to subscribe. They're accurate too.

I don't think he can read a formguide. Seems besotted with stats and has some purile rules using them. Then he adds some strange witchcraft logic of "not one of mine" or "didn't back it last time so I can't come into it now".
As for reading horse form e.g. up to a suitable distance, fitter for a couple of runs, change to senior jockey, dropping in class, etc., he seems to have no idea. Just does some whacko class ratings of his own based on times. Very odd.

An exciting development
Phil has decided to lease out his 3 supporting website's - not sure how many million they are worth but no doubt someone will take up the opportunity
What will be interesting is that anyone with half a clue will be able to write better previews and delve into some real punting stories/ideas - could be a bit scary for Phil as it will show just how poor he is in this regard.
Anyway should be good

I had a read of it. The bloke needs an ego transplant with accompanying reality check bypass......mind you, the outgoing RQL execs might take up a lease just to maintain the rage from the Opposition benches.

His fans will be cashed up to the hilt after his ravings about Oakleigh Plate winner Woorim.
He's also tipped him to win the Newmarket
Don't say you weren't told.

Some high-level thinking put forward in recent posts.
Has got the solution for Cushion Tracks, and has finally realised that most owners wouldn't have a clue - in his humble opinion of course. These would be those owners who provide the horses that provide the fictionals that ya buy, that provide the basis for subscription service, blah, blah.

That logic he espouses regarding offering incentives to run on the Cusion is about as whaco as Phil gets.
The gist seems to be that professional trainers don't know what they are talking about and need a cash incentive to give the Cushion a try. At least he seems to be admitting what many knew from the start....that Cusion tracks are lemons.
My question is how would Phil know more than a trainer knows about his horse? Some seriously flawed thinking in that befuddled head of his.
He would do better to exclusively expose what a rotten choice of racing surface the control body made, and that the majority of trainers have rejected it. The Cushion product was designed for training purposes in harsh winter climates in the northern hemisphere. And it is great for training purposes where the horse just needs something stable to gallop on. It is not a racing suface suitable for horse OR punter...the two fundamentals of the industry (product and revenue).
That is where the truth lays.
You would think after all the helpful advice we have offered Phil these past few years he would be improving his act, not getting worse. There's gratitude for you.
Well, no more helpful hints from me anymore.
Chuggers, suggest kill this thread or start invoicing him for services rendered. If he wants contra, how about free sectionals and Saturday mail for everyone. I want to get the mail next time Woorim is a cert.

Ascot, I suspect he's not a fast learner - or more likely, one of those people who don't realise when others are trying to help.
As for the training bit, he has spoken to TJ on cruise, remember.
There's been a lot of research go into the thesis, though.
Don't be concerned if the horse is fit or not, just pay 'em. I'd extend the plan a step further: EVERY HORSE MUST RACE AT LEAST ONCE ON THE CUSHION TRACK BEFORE BEING RETIRED.
What do ya reckon?

Ascot Could not agree more. Then we have Bentley coming to Toowoomba critisising the committee on the upkeep of the track. He's the dill that forced in on stakeholders in the first place through a dodgy vote.It has killed racing here & I fear for it's future.

I don't think Twba racing is killed.
Just rip up the cushion stuff - mix it with the gear at SC where the cushion training track can continue (don't be concerned about the nonsense re different melting points, bullshit, bullshit) - then lay a grass track a la Moonee Valley. The foundations are all there, so I can see a reasonably economical grass makeover.

Good thinking DD. I have started planting turf over those ant nests I conquered last month. TTC can pick it up when they want it.
Ahhhh...grass back at Toowoomba. Can't wait.
