One of the world's great races to be run next Saturday Night June 6th AEST. 20 left in the field at the moment.

First leg winner of the triple crown was the John Oxx trained Sea The Stars (by Cape Cross).

Early favourite is the unbeaten  Fame And Glory (Montjeu) from the O'Brien stable, one of 9 they have nommed.

Geldings ineligible.

Entries closed December 5, 2007, (474 entries). Other breeds can't compete because it's an sport for thoroughbred horses.

I am not sure that is you best diction nor is it an answer to why other horses can not compete in horse racing.

Yes, you're right. An "an" instead of an "a" was rather sloppy.

I can not recall a single comment that i have made on this forum that was not of the highest quality.

You will be happy to know that there is a small wave building in europe for ALL races to be opened to geldings, its highly unlikely to happen in your life time and hopefully not in mine but i dare say it will happen in the next 30 years.

Whatever breed they want, if they ahppen to throw a leg over it and it can run 1200m in 1m5 why should they not be allowed to run it at Randwick ?
