I don't think anyone's ever questioned the fact that FUNTANTES might have won ridden differently.

But that's all with the benefit of 20-20 hindsight.

Even if correct, it doesn't mean Cassidy's ride was poor.

The Tinkler filly is a good looker. Let's see whether she can reproduce yesterday's form in the Spring.

Dunno what happened to forum-favourite FUNTANTES at the jump. unsure

The pattern of the race gave her no hope, yet she ran on well to finish 5th. Presumably she'll be off to a lush paddock for a while. Look forward to seeing her back in the Spring.

Yes it was a good run by Funtantes.....the 5th place would have pushed her prizemoney over the 1/4 million but the Judge said she finished 6th so the connections will have to wait for the spring.

She's done a fantastic job for her first campaign.

Amazing the winner of this race had accumulated $1200 before winning this group one. wacko
