Thought I would start a thread for tips and general chatter and even any questions that newbies or oldies may have for the
guys that log on here alot...

If you have a question for a trainer like geoff about a problem with a horse and how to fix it or...

A question for someone that owns a horse or even some advice on form/opinion for an upcoming race..

So don't be bashful any newies...Ask questions here ...

Just some ideas but even how you think a race will pan out can help another forumite...

I think that is the advantage that Melton has.  Not too big a track where you lose them up on the far corner.

The stewards inquiry into the race involving the Jacks will resume Monday after a long delay.Will be interestiong to see what comes out of it.

Guys the news i was given today which is reliable that a leading trainer in Nsw has returned a positive.If correct will be a sensation but may lead to an even playing field for all lets hope it does.

Pretty sure thats the same one that was in the news early in the week...No names as yet but it is to EPO   The 1st sample was tested by the HKJC.. At the moment the B sample is being tested in England at Newmarket

Been announced today that Luke Mcarthy has  returned a positive from the Newcastle cup.
Sad news but had to happen as was unhealthy for sport to have one stable dominating so much

Stylish don't know but it cost me the second leg of the quaddie last night, did take Sushi Sushi one out though. When I saw it was over 1720m I left Earl Of Mot out, but incompetently I didn't even look at the driver thinking J Hackett would be aboard. Good driver change to J Caldow whose jumping around like a frog in a blender suited the horse.

Hackett may have left Lance or just be suspended. Wouldn't be surprised if he left as Lance tends to give him a pasting to all and sundry. On racing radio about a month ago he wasn't  really complimentary about him, despite that he was running the stable with Lance incapacitated. Then one of Lance's owners told me that Lance was always blowing up because Hackett would warm the horses up too hard before the race.

Lance is very successful and has done a great job in SA and Vic. But like a lot of top sports and business people that success comes from their belief that they best and the rest are just that, the rest.
