dd has kept this a big secret.

It was reported by Hoss on RR this morning that magic Millions race day could be moved to Eagle Farm because of the MM contract expiring to race at the Gold Coast track.

The move probably has some merit as the crowd sizes and the Gold Coast track are bursting at the seams on Millions Day.

Naturally the move would also suit E.F as they don't have a race meeting on that day.

I'd imagine there will be plenty of Gold Coasters who will object to this move.

OL I doubt it would have been the QTC that "gave away" their day.  It would have been a QR ruling.

Magic the State Government have no intention of helping Gerry and his mates out.

Whether its another "beat up " story or not the idea has merit.

Eagle Farm is a far superior course. The race would be much better off there.

Hopefully when and if they move the races to Eagle Farm they will get a proper stayers cup over a proper staying trip, ie not less than 2800m.
