dd has kept this a big secret.

It was reported by Hoss on RR this morning that magic Millions race day could be moved to Eagle Farm because of the MM contract expiring to race at the Gold Coast track.

The move probably has some merit as the crowd sizes and the Gold Coast track are bursting at the seams on Millions Day.

Naturally the move would also suit E.F as they don't have a race meeting on that day.

I'd imagine there will be plenty of Gold Coasters who will object to this move.

PK

Wasn't my intention to convey a impression of "us and them".  I was referring to the fact that Brisbane tracks have copped a pounding with wet days in the past year.

Re the redevelopment of GC, I doubt any reasonable person would be against that - as one would hope they'd be in support of the Brisbane tracks' redevelopment.

Hoss shows poor judgement in publicly knocking another Club's racetrack.  He should be more concerned with the one he oversees, IMO.

Industry in-fighting is self-destructive.  Those who engage in it deserve a kick in the you-know-where. rant

Could not agree more!!!
This is almost certainly the biggest problem in racing at the moment and over the last 20+ years
If we can not unite surely the govt. and others will not unite to help us!!!
