What a great old dog. Comes from last to win his 42nd from his 80th start(21 placings). Has now won 34 races over the 515m at angle park. Not bad for a 4+ year old.

Due to watching alot of trots on sky I also get to see many dog races...

This dog Scull Murphy I have been watching for what seems to be many years now and he won tonight again after
being last out...
Not sure why but there doesn't appear to be much fanfare about this dog and for the last 12 months I always think of him
as the workman's dog as he just seems to get the job done time and time again..( Not sure if that is a fair call though )..

Is he just not up to the top liners and has stayed in SA due to this or have I just missed him taking on the best??

I don't know much about dogs but if I owned one I would love a Blue Collar dog like him..

30.27 tonight. Might be time to hang up his collar and lead and retire him to stud. 

He's a great dog LLD. Just off the real topliners but in saying that he was just beaten in the Adelaide cup by El Galo earlier this year.

He's over 4 years old and still winning plenty. Just don't back him from inside boxes now days as he has lost some early pace and like to track a bit wide. Box 8 tonight and he loved it.

What percentage of dogs would have a record of 50% wins to starts?? Say with a minimum of 30 starts...

I only ask that as at the trots only the really really good ones get to this....Even Smokin Up isn't at 50% ( Although very close)..

You have to look at where he has won his races Denzil... SA is the weakest state as far as class goes and if he raced in ffa's every week in vic, he wouldn't have that record. He is a warhorse but not a topliner and has failed everytime he has met the best.
