does any one still have a copy of the race? Did you see the head on ? what happened to German CHocolate did they snag him back to last intentionally or did he cope a servere check ? No mention in stewards reports

Keano - just one of those horses it doesn't pay to follow; a bit of a thief.  Now been beaten when 13/4, 6/4, 2/1, 13/8 + today (1/1?).

(Not speaking out of pocket, I backed Wasted Emotions.)


The bookie boys are going to have a ball with him Bamboo...Greg Miles i do recalled said he is one of the best sprinters he as ever seen... censored how bad is he going... sad

Keano's a nice horse but O'Brien's spruik on him is a bit much [he's also a stallion and O'Brien is an owner from memory  chin].

Was impressed with the winner, thought he was doing it tough and was entitled to fall away in the straight.

I haven't read the Stewards' Report, but from what I saw side-on your steed jumped perfectly, but then dropped back to last after 50 metres. (I know you saw this, too.) Perhaps he was sandwiched between Sequestrate and Forestreno?

Sky didn't show a head-on, from what I saw, but GC went to the post without having got a crack at them anywhere down the running.

He looked to be travelling OK, and would have been nice to see him get a shot at them.

What a terrible ride on Mr Slick  Thumb Down

As I mentioned after his first up run this preparation, jockey's have to stop swinging off his mouth and let him run, was surprised D Gauci didn't bring the horse down
