I too was on Calchris last start. I heard Wayne Wilson mention that the jockey requested a veterinary inspection at the barriers. Certainly not what you want to hear after you have backed any horse.It was passed fit to start but after they jumped it was soon several lengths last. However it did run on. Might be best to wait until they get to the barriers before backing it next time.

Let me just say that she's a very good mare and for all of her recent starts she might just as well been home in her stall.
She's been lumping weights, had awful draws, and was out the back every run. She's been running on.
I don't think she's got much form over a mile, but I like her style and with no weight, she's a real chance. Just PRAY for a decent draw.
