The track wasn't what I would call "wet" at Doomben ......... 2nd horse LordLinlithgow failed on a wet track at GoldCoast at his next start , finishing 4th of 4 with the jockey saying "didn't handle going".................. Man of Oar 3rd , won a Cushion 2yo Mdn at his next start , by .1L at Evens ...... 3 other horses have raced since and failed to flatter  |

Won't be betting in the race, but I think the oarsman is a chance. Surprised he's $18.
Don't be fixed on the Cushion race. His Dbn run was quite an eye-opener. Big jump in class for this, of course.

It was a nice win Magic , they went hard and the horse kept going ....... Man of Oar must've been 18L from the lead at one point and got beaten 3.5 ! .......... I don't know what to do with those two , both have untold upside  |

Nice ride by Cassidy to get the visitor home.
I took $10 the place Man of Oar. Some got $15. Was a very good run, coming from last at the 800.
