1st Winner For Freshman Sire Delzao
On the Australian track, Eliza Park Stud's Gr2-winning & millionaire-earning 1st-crop stallion Delzao (Encosta de Lago-Amanusa, by Alzao) recorded his 1st winner when 2YO filly Banderilla (Delzao-Summer Gambit, by Bestebreuje) scored by 5-lengths over 1250m at Morphettville in Adelaide yesterday at her 2nd start for trainer Jon O'Connor. Banderilla was passed-in for $22,500 & retained to race by Summerset Park Stud at the 2008 Inglis Premier Yearling Sale in Melbourne. (Jun 18)
