First the 311m boxes don't open and now the 520m boxes don't open. Trainers put weeks into getting their dogs right and this does them no good at all!! Heads should roll!!!!

Well the owners and trainers would mate. We aren't all compulsive gamblers who sit on our fat asses all night betting on anything that moves.  wink

Yeah but not every dog is the chance they were before the boxes failed. Greyhounds have lots of nervous energy and it can totally stuff them up when this happens. Ur theory the races are running is pathetic as the track staff should ensure all greyhounds are given an even chance and by the boxes failing, this is not the case. Only those who have had greyhounds would understand. Fat pricks who punt have no idea what goes on behind the scenes and should just keep to deleting threads that make them cry  Sad  wink

It's not as if the Cranbourne Club wanted it to happen.
These things do happen periodically, it's not the end of the world.

In all my years i have never seen back to back races where the boxes have failed to open. It's their job to make sure it all goes smoothly. But i guess ur right OL, i mean ur the one with everything and as mere mortals are just dribbling shit  wink

The same owners and trainers that give their dogs live kills?
Isn't that illegal?

Actually....I have often wondered why they say " All dogs have to come out and be vetted "...I thought it may have been
to check if any have smacked their heads on the front of the box trying to get out ( Re Maldivian damage)...

My question is then... How often after this happens are many actually scratched and don't run??

I still piss myself laughing at the complete opposite end of the scale when the old bloke lent on the " let them go lever"
in the Melbourne Cup ( I might have wrong race) ...Ahhh the joys of watching old folks...If only he had of tripped on the gutter
and then fell on it.... lol   lol
