Anybody here love their Hong Kong racing like i do ?

I had 2 bets Saturday, SAFETY FIRST trained by a guy that i reckon goes alright over there P F Yiu, then i backed up again on B Prebble  CHEEKY LAD  beer

Anybody have a history on P F Yiu, he has very few runners but always has a great strike rate and one to follow over there.

Snow Fairy is a lot better than I gave her credit for.

And what a super trainer.

How is it these European trainers can keep them up soo long ?

They don't exhaust them running them in useless 'lead up' races under 10f.  lol

I was on Irian but all honors to the filly - just too good.

Agree with Calgary and then when they are ready to race they only target
certain races.

Snow Fairy this year ran on 19/5, 4/6, 18/7, 19/8 11/9, 14/11 and today.
Most of our trainers would have 6 runs in 3 months.

And as Jim would tell us, we have no idea which race they are trying to win.

Do they get the" best" out of them though??
That is the great unknown.

Their records when they come to Aus are not great for the supposed class of horse they bring, albeit they are facing massive obstacles.
Having said that the Aus sprinters that go over there have a pretty good record and are facing similar obstacles  chin
Maybe I am just biased towards Aus training methods

First thing I thought as they crossed the line. Ortensia ran really well. She isn't within 5 of Black Caviar. We also learnt the mighty Sacred Kingdom is just starting to slide. He will win Group ones but his dominance is over.

Yeah Ara I'm not sure I knew that long ago, but you're not the only one if you get what I mean... Hence the IS in capital letters, as now its just indisputible. Shit I'd love for this JJ Jetplane to come down for the Newmarket and see Black Cav just tear him up...

I wonder how far Cav gets chin I mean just imagine she's even better over 7 furls, wouldn't that be frightening..

Why would they take her on in a handicap ?

I'd be happy to see her take him on in the TJ Smith, the sprint championship of Australasia.

Lucky you poxdoctor - you in HK or the vicinity ?

Will be a great day - I'm huge Rocket Man fan - here's hoping he can get international victory.

I just happened to be in the area at the time, as work took me up that way. So I was fortunate to get a weekend in Hong Kong on the way home. It was a great day at the track, with some impressive performances. Snow Fairy was fantastic.
