Ambitious General in my opinion is way over the odds, in my opinion you take out his last start on dirt and he is second or 3rd favorite, not the second outsider of the field.

If the favorite is off his game than Ambitious General is as good chance as any of the others.

One of the better lasts i have tipped. 

 

Excellent battle between the top two but hard to beat the champ.

John Size has one in the next first up over 1400m. I like to double my bet when he sends them out over a 1400+ first up.

lets see todays late results. race 7 dazzling darren beadman on the $1.30 chance Packing Supreme, ran 3rd to a $122 bolter that had been thrashed by multiple lengths its last 3 runs, then the following race "the best miler in the world" good ba ba was $1.30 and beaten by $18 chance Egyptian Ra, then race 9 the following race the dazzler beadman sat on top of the unbeaten from 4 starts Happy Zero at $1.30 and it was UNPLACED, i wonder what the odds were of 3 consecutive $1.30 range horses being beaten ?

About twice as unlikely as 2  $1.30  2yos bucking themselves into our hearts. 

The problem was, we weren't able to lay them cause BF don't field on them
