Logan's track is still looking a goer.

Just wondering what they will build with the $10 million that they have to start with.

As I drive past Cronulla Park on the way to the shop, I'm anticipating it will take me a lot longer to pick up the milk and bread on racedays. biggrin

Do they have to knock down any Koala trees to build it.

If they do watch the greenies and environmental people take aim.

No mate it is a old dump site on the corner of Kingston Rd and Compton Rd.

Great access to the highway . Should be good if it happens.

Grats did you hear retired jockey Mick pelling on radio yesterday?

He reckons a new racetrack and facilities should have been built on that land halfway down the coast, just past Jocobs' well area.

Mick now owns and run a golf driving range up on the north coast and reckons he hardly keeps up to date with what's happening on the racing scene.
Too busy looking after his business.

One thing about Mick he was always a "think outside the square" type of bloke.

Good luck to him I say.

Yes Mick is a bit of a inventor and it would be great to get a racetrack on this side of the river.

Dog track will do to start with and hopefully some sort of punting auditorium.
