I'm going to go where no sane punter has gone before , and that is Tassie racing .
Maybe our fearless leaders can give us our own section.

Do we really need a new board for topics that will never get any use Problem with having to many boards, is that nobody vistits the ones that don't get posted in, so by creating a tasmanian board, a NT board, etc is a fruitless action. Anybody have a problem with creating a a Newboard that encomapasses WA NT SA TAS and any other precint that doesn't have it's own board ? Suggestions for names are welcome

Thank god, I actually suggested to Magic that Tas Gallops belong in the pointless area

There's a "Child Board" for each of the other States. Why not for that State off the coast of Victoria????

We have a problem with to many child boards causing havoc with the layout on the main page, thats why I have had to shorten some of the existing ones.
Also as the point I made above, boards are wasted on topics that just don't get used.
Was thinking about adding a group to cover all smaller racing area's, maybe called "Other States" ?
Thougts

If Qld Gallops, and NSW Gallops, and Vic Gallops, etc, have Child Boards, my organised mind tells me that Tasmania should have one, too.

Well it can't have one.
Qld deserves a big one, maybe all other States combined.

Don't worry about.
Just a few of us have put in $20 each for a parlay down in Tassie and we were going to post them there.
No problems.
BTW DD, maybe we should try that again at SC one day. Last time we did it we got heaps back for our $20. Also good cheap fun

The sale process for Tote Tasmania "has hit serious strife because of fresh uncertainty about a tax exemption for the business on betting pool arrangements in mainland states," reported The Australian Financial Review. The uncertainty "has left bidders such as Tabcorp unable to accurately value the company". The Tasmanian Government "had hoped to finalise sale by early this month, but fresh doubts have been cast on the process as a wrangle over betting pool tax exemptions remains unresolved". The Victorian Government "is providing a new extension (of the tax exemption) until January 31 for the matter to be thrashed out" & Victorian Racing Minister Rob Hulls "has just granted the new extension, after weeks of talks failed to resolve the issue".
