Darley Stud's Henry Plumptre said it was likely Forensics would soon be sent to England and go to stud.

It is expected Forensics will be sent to the Sheikh's Dalham Hall Stud and will join other celebrated Australian mares like Mannington, Alizes, Assertive Lass and Anamato.

Forensics' trainer Peter Snowden said he was resigned to the fact he won't be saddling the mare again on raceday.

"It will be a shame to lose her but she owes nothing to anyone," Snowden said.

"She gave me my first Group One winner as a trainer and is the only Slipper-winning filly to win Group One races as a three and four-year-old."
