Bloody hell he looks young.

Seems to be a clever kid though.

Good luck to him today at Doomben

He rode one down here in Sydney awhile back great, leading all the way for Sue Gryils? can't remember the horses name though  shy backed up the following start to get the cash again  thumbsup

Speaks very well for a 16 year old, I love how it's Mrs this or Mr that etc, it maybe old fashioned but it still shows respect  Thumb Up

How many jockeys of his caliber ( where this meeting was ) would take so few rides spaced out over the day ?

I figured he may have fancied one of those last two mounts, I was wrong, or he was.

If you see a high grade jockey hanging around from the first to the last and none in the middle would that get you thinking he may fancy one or the other, particularly the one he is hanging around for ?

no i cant agree on that. if a jockey has only 2 rides for the meeting it doesn't matter who he is he has to stay and ride both. the rides are accepted early  and the draws come out later.
sometimes the rider may have say 5 rides then some rain comes and 1 goes sore or doesn't accept and he ends up with 2. he is then compelled to ride the 2 horses even if they end up in the first and last race.

sorry that  theory is worthless in most instances.
