Bloody hell he looks young.

Seems to be a clever kid though.

Good luck to him today at Doomben

DJH, you're at it again, I see. lol

For the life of me, I dunno what Bell did wrong on Excellantes.  I know it ran 2nd, but I thought he had no options but to ease when tackled soon after the jump.  From then on he took the only route possible.

When someone's on a run of outs, it seems everything they do is wrong.  That applies to politicians, racing administrators, even jockeys. unsure

I don't think Tim did a lot "wrong" on Excellantes, but as I have said, the horses he is riding are not running to their best atm.

Every punter knows that when you are "off" those horses get beaten and when you are "on" they miraculously win.
It is the same for trainers and jockeys and in fact everything in life.
I will leave it up to you to decide why and how.

Just on Excellantes also, I note that D.Browne has had 5 rides for 4 wins and a photo 2nd(when the horse was fatter than me). The rest of his career the horse has had 6 starts for 1 win, 3 x 2nds and a 3rd  chin

Browney is one of the top 3 riders in the country in my opinion, and young Dinger needs to learn the lesson of modesty and respecting one's elders!

Highly perceptive, DJH.

But it has absolutely NIL relevence to the discussion of Bell's ride on the horse on Saturday last.

I note you reckon he didn't do a "lot" wrong on Excellantes.  Could you identify what he did wrong - apart from getting beaten, of course.

As you know, I'm not a current fan of young Bell, but the least we can do is keep the debate rational.

Some wags may suggest it could be something to do with the date.

Has there been a change in his relationship with Patinack?

I see he has no rides for them tomorrow and Jake Noonan is there.
