What a stunningly great run today.

Folks, this is the best 3yo to grace the track going as far back as Gammalite....god bless his heart love

If he drew  Captain Joy marble or got the suck run of Tin Tin he would have destroyed them.

He's from the same family as Our Sir Vancalot , Jikk Addios Thumb Up

Can't wait till he takes on the big guns

Lars, I stood in the lounge room and screamed at the telly as he surged to the lead, I couldn't believe he had the audacity to do that.
Captain joy, unbeaten for 13 starts, turned it up on straightening and thins thing gave him a cold after being 3 wide & then death seating, amazing effort

They ran a track record and he was actually coming again at the finish.
I really hope he becomes a superstar, we really need new ones

On subject I agree BBay great run very good horse I'm sure Captain Joy is a great horse too but it makes you wonder how much $$ CJ would've won had BB been fit all season.

I don't remember any comment about not wanting to own him.

In fact that is always a mystery to me as to why people bring up the "I'd like to own him line"

when you don't own them why does it matter if you would like to own them. When you don't own them you can make money one way and one way only.

That is through assessment of the horse as a punting prospect.

am I correct, yes or no?

Yes was there it was a good crowd bit hard to judge the numbers but many thousands definitely. i spoke to a few of the winning owners in the owners area i just wanted to touch their trophies ha ha found out the crown doesnt come off dont know what good that is when a man wants to drink grog out of the hallowed chalice.
