Licensed jockey Neil Perryman has appealed against the severity of a financial penalty imposed on him by RNSW Stewards at Nowra Racecourse on Sunday, 30th August 2009.

In Race 4 (Nowra Mazda Rating 57 Handicap, 1200m), Neil Perryman, rider of Streaking, pleaded guilty to a charge of using the whip in more than three consecutive strides (4 additional strokes) inside the 200m (AR 137A(5)). 

In additional to a suspension (8th September to 13th September), he also forfeited his riding fee and prizemoney percentage for this race. 

Mr Perryman is appealing against the loss of his riding fee and prizemoney percentage for this race.
