Hulls Urges Vic Industry To Get Act Together
www.breedingracing.com Victorian Racing Minister Rob Hulls also urged his state's racing industry to "get its act together" in its response to the recent Crawford Report on the future of Victorian racing, reported
thoroughbrednews.co.nz.
Hulls said "the longer the delays & lack of agreement in acting on the recommendations of the Crawford Report, the more the industry looked divided & in disarray". Hulls declared:
"I'm getting extremely frustrated by the posturing & finger-pointing by various industry groups in relation to the review. I certainly want the industry to get its act together & promote a position that is in the best interests of the greater Victorian racing community.
And this includes, obviously, formal shareholders & stake-holders as well as punters, spectators & the hundreds of thousands who are involved in the industry."
