What is the weather like for your area.
Would appreciate what the track will be like in your neck of the woods

I think it's best if I go along to Caulfield - good luck on a great day all!
Tell us you're off to Caulfield, and you bob up a Pakenham @ 10/1

From the BOM this morning:
"Mr Williams said the wettest periods for the CBD will be tomorrow morning and Thursday, with the metropolitan area expecting up to 20 millimetres before the week's end." (Caulfield is 10km SE of the CBD)
A lot of wind around, so right now the track would be dry. Depending on timing, tomorrow might get a bit wet underfoot for the main races, but I maintain that the track should be pretty dry by Cup time.

Black as sh*t here at the moment with thunderstorms.... May as well be in different countries. It's 5.1 in Melbourne with the wind chill and it feels colder still.

Guessing Caulfield received 3-4mm yesterday. 'Showers' forecast this morning, but nothing of significance on the radar. Surely Dead 5 at worst?
The track walkers say the best going is 5-6 off the rail. Look for lanes; look for horses coming wide.
