From time-to-time some of us ask for help with relatively simple queries.

Where's a certain horse, or jockey, for example.

This thread would seem a good spot to plant such questions.

Can anyone tell me where I can find a form guide or a web page which would tell me which horses are wearing gear today (ie blinkers, toungue tie, etc).  A lot of them tell me when a horse has blinkers first time, etc, but none tell me if it is wearing blinkers and its the 10th run with them.

Not sure if I wrote that well as I have a bad head cold tonight .. basically I am trying to find all horses who had blinkers on today (and every day) so looking for a form guide which can do that.

Racing Vic tells you what they are wearing when you click on the horse itself but not in the form.

What would a shilling in 1860 be worth in today's values.

Anyone have any idea of what the avesage wage might have been in 1860?

When questioned
regarding the performance of Typhoon Tracy, L Nolen stated that his mount
raced very flatly. Trainer Mr P Moody stated that, whilst he has had a viral
complaint in his stable, he had taken bloods from Typhoon Tracy yesterday and
there was nothing amiss. A post race veterinary examination of Typhoon Tracy
revealed the mare had been galloped on the near hind fetlock. Mr Moody
undertook to report to the Stewards the results of a further veterinary check.

Race 6: Emirates Doncaster Mile 1600m - Trainer Mr P Moody advised that, other
than the injury sustained by Typhoon Tracy to the near hind leg during the event, no
abnormalities were detected. Mr Moody confirmed the advice given that Typhoon
Tracy will now be spelled.

Including being broken in, 4- 6 weeks, a couple of 6- 8 week preperations, with 4 - 6 weeks in the spelling paddock, maybe more, maybe less, of just training, and barrier trials

You would easily be looking at between 6 - 12 months before getting it to the track wink
