I will throw all my NSW horse talk here.

Sometimes I will venture out of NSW chat.

Ivory Pegasus runs again today (Randwick)...keep following....you will be a winner.

(As stated before, not at its best on rain affected tracks)

Richard Callendar vehemently expressed himself on TVN's "The right odds" concerning the abandoning of last Wednesday's Canterbury meeting. (Dust storm)
"It was done for the HORSES" .... First priority..... the welfare of the horse

Well done Richard....I'm with you...hope you express yourself, in the same caring manner, when it's 40 in the shade.

NSW...across State.......This is an observation....seen plenty of front runners absolutely bolt in. Watch them go like the clappers early, then accelerate away on the point of the turn.

Here's a Qld one.

Evidently a lot of confusion about Rockhampton/ Yeppoon.....NSW tab still call it the former....but I'm told "Y" is about 100kms away....happy to be corrected

John Tapp's Oracle ratings....which I've already discussed....told you they said "72% of winners come from first four ratings"...which helps when they include a glut of 8 dog fields.

Saw the fine print on ad......from 1 March 2008 to 30 Sept 2008....32,280 ? races..............................

Maths...214 days into 32,280 races equals 150.8 races a day.

Have a feeling non-tab races ,with small fields , included too.

And...sure they picked that period for maximum stat.

This is annoying me...Is Ballina trainer (running hot now) John Everson the father-in-law of Darren Beadman?

If you have a strong knowledge, go to the Newcastle fields today (on NSW TAB) and you'll see heaps of errors concerning allowances.

Apprentices with allowances.....showing no allowance...all through the meeting

.....and even an old jockey with a 3kg claim!!!!

OK...look at this one...the stupidity of ratings races.

Horse.....Miss Eveready....first two starts unplaced......new trainer puts it in a ratings 57 race and it gets 60kgs....runs last....maybe a good excuse for this start.....

Today...a maiden and it's on the limit...54 kgs.

By the way...the topweight, an unraced 5yo has a chance. The mother had a good racing record. It's called "Lava Star"
Any money for it?
I reckon the winner of this race will be 1,3,9 or 11....prepared to risk "Fishing" and "Shdad"

"SOPHISTICATION".....runs today on a heavy.

Backed it last start (after nice trial ) and backed it in May when 2nd to Synonym.
This is a horse I'm fond of.

Today....leave me out....let's see how good Joseph Pride is....Kev Moses[previous trainer] said "doesn't like heavy" (it performs on Dead).........I would never doubt Kev's integrity.

Joe Pride has an unbelievable record of winning races with horses from other stables, I am not sure wether they are cast offs or the owners are looking for something different but he is incredible.

Joseph Pride learnt from John Size.

Top trainer.....rejuvenates horses just like his mentor.
