Anyone active on this forum at present will through the next few days have an opinion on the Cup, and I’m sure play around with their own trifecta combinations.
x
Well let’s see if we can’t have some fun and combine both.
1. Nominate you top 3 selections for the Cup, with a 2 line or more form reason why.
x
2. Nominate your $50 Rover Banker trifecta – your top pick to rover as the banker with 5 to 7 other selections.
x
$100 Rover Banker Trifecta on offer on the Emirates on the last day (Sat week) of the carnival for the winner (your selections, 50/50).
Winning criteria will be
1. Your top pick finishes 1st, 2nd or 3rd (so it’s a successful rover)
x
2. You successfully get the trifecta correct
x
3. The highest % return for your $50
x
4. You must write a two line form reason for each selection

This is an example of how to enter (copy and post the format if you wish).A. Nominate your top 3 selections, and a 2 line form reason why. Your top selection becomes your Rover.1. Alcopop
Looks untaped, a stayer on the up with no weight. A rare stayer with brilliant accelration. Has won all 4 starts this prep, last two blowing them away, the last by 1.3 lengths over 2400 at Caulfield. Should get a nice run mid field from his draw, has to be the one to beat.
2. Viewed
Class stayer, won it last yr and looks cherry ripe for this. Won the Caulfield Cup, lovely pipe opener in the Mackinnon, carries Bart's magical touch, should be stalking them into the straight from his nice draw, sure to be in the finish.
3. Roman Emperor
4 yr old AJC Derby winner who comes through the classic Caulfield Cup form line finishing 2nd to stable mate Viewed. Should push forward and race just behind the speed, should also be improved from his Caulfield run and be there and abouts down the home straight.
