Yep...she went into constant dry retching.....until ambulance arrived....they iv'd her a general drug that stops vomiting.

Evidently, if it comes again, she may quickly need an IV of stemitil

Yes....bile was coming out....nothing else.

I've had an inner ear infection and was dizzy...the doc said "Don't play with the wax, it's there to protect you"

Many still play....with cotton buds or hair-pins.

Golf tees are the best.

My ear specialist said never put anything in your ear that's bigger than your elbow  Undecided

Hope she has a speedy recovery, Duke  flowers

Duke, I was first diagnosed with Menieres disease in 1976 when I was still in the Army in Townsville.

With my first attack I really thought that I was dying. I lost all the hearing in my left ear since then and that is from MD.

I still get attacks  and it really wipes you out. I'm totally wasted for at least 1 hour after most attacks.
As I had the first attack when still in the Army I have had the best medical treatment available. I have a few other problems as well and the top doctors admit because of the combo of different things, I more or less have to lve with it.
When I get really crook the doctor hits me with a stemitil needle and that does help, other times I just take the stemitil tablets.

Between that and diabetes I take nine tablets a day and looks like having to increase that  mad
My symphathies to anyone with Menieres.

Everything is normal....why she got it so severe may have something to do with her low blood pressure.

She can't cope with Altitude and her body resents COLD.

With her violent and constant dry retching, a tablet would have been impossible to administer.

I'll have to somehow get her out of the house and plunge her into a Doctor's surgery. (if it ever repeats)****

Watch everyone run then.

**** she did compain of ear blockage 16 hours earlier( to attack)....so maybe a warning does come for her.

Maxolon I think is the drug to stop the throwing up, obviously won't work orally once in the throes. Quack told me paramedics don't carry or administer; reckon I'd be dead if taken for an ambulance ride with this complaint.

One doctor....in Malaysia...says it can eventuate from a lack of sleep.

And....also....always happens in morning.

With respect to lack of sleep...my wife is a tennis freak....she watched all those Matches played by the Super 8 in UK.

Starting 10pm and second game starting 4.30 am (our time)
