This ever sought after prize,will be awarded at the end of each racing season.

A jockey needs to make a mess of a ride to score.

One nomination may see the Grand Prize awarded.

The winner gets a supermarket trolley (he has to find in area) and a one night stay (if he chooses) in the Streets of Kings Cross.  Not allowed to shave for previous 24 hours.

Lady jocks can be nominated, but not allowed to win Grand prize.

***Most  excuses  unacceptable.....e.g.  "riding to instructions".....as Bart says.....good jocks use initiative

I'm hoping Richard Callander will present the DBR award on TVN.
AND.....I give RC  free rights to give a jock the DBR whenever he chooses.

Gosh...this is getting big....I can see jocks talking about this, all over NSW.

The winner today is Mark Newnham for his ride on "Flintlock", Kembla race 6.

Congatulations Mark, you sure earned the award today.

Apprentice Michael Palmer also scores a nomination, for his ride on "HEMEM" at Hawkesbury last Thursday.

Being only an apprentice, this will make it difficult for him to win this award.

After all, he will get better....I hope.  ( and his Master may not let him out)

Duke I was on Hemem and agree.

I was also pissed off with young Mr Palmer again today on JERSEY LILY .

Then again , I'm no expert, so just hope he gets better.

It's not for the worst ride of the day....it's for a NSW bum ride, sighted by me.
