I wish him well on his recovery at thi sad time    He has certainly rode thousands of winners.

Robbo always the joker, but a top class jockey by any measure, I hope he makes a full recovery and can ride again. I was talking with an x-jock last week and he said it don't look good and the best advice was to give it away.

Shame robbo was really starting to get some good rides in town and was really riding good, i guess there is always a career in television, he certainly was always funny on the Footy show

It's absolutely dreadful to hear the extent of some of the injuries lately.  I'm not a great fan of Robbo or JAC, but still don't like to see any of them hurt in this way.

Hope that Robbo does give it away and live a full life out of the saddle rather than come back and do more damage that might see him in a wheel chair, or worse.

He doesn't need it and he can do something else in the industry he loves.

Allan Robinson has been cleared to ride trackwork less than two months after breaking his neck in three places in a race fall.

He's hoping he can return to race riding later this month. Robbo is targetting the Newcastle meeting on Aug 25 as his comeback venue.

Will be great to see him back riding again, one of the characters of racing and one of the hardest working Jocks around.

Might be back in time to partner Newport again who i am guessing will be getting ready forthe spring ?

Anybody know what Paul Perry has planned for Newport ?

He couldn't ride at Ballina today because he rode trackwork somewhere so had to wait a few days before going to a meeting.
