A mate raved on about how good mick is with first starters getting the quid.

I didn't think he was remarkably better than other of the top ones.

Can someone provide opinions or stats to support or confound ?

Many thanks

Go good, your mate is right. Won well, right across the odds spectrum.

Mate of mine had a Synd horse with Price for a while, and the thing he quickly lerant was that if Price didn't think it was good enough to win a race on a Saturday one day, he wouldn't keep it for long.

Tery Bailey insinuated ( in my opinion ) That Marconi should have been in the spelling paddock. He was proven right, either that or the winner is a superstar.

Was it a poor training performance by Mick Price ?

I take it you're impressed with this post, Matt.
