Boxing Day Guessing Comp

Ok, for those forum members about lets try and add a little fun to Boxing Day.

To enter, nominate your answer to each of the following questions.

1. How many runs will be scored in total on day 1 on the Melb Cricket Test (winner will be closest to actual).

2. Which Yacht (by name) will be the over night leader (at midnight Boxing Day Eastern DST) in the Sydney to Hobart yacht race

3. The Winner of race 6 at Caulfield

4. 4th position in race 7 at Doomben

5. How many bottles of wine will be consumed at Triples place on Boxing Day (hint, probably between 3 to 4 adults)

To enter you must nominate an answer to all 5 questions

The first correct answer to each question wins that person an equal share in a $200 Quaddie to be placed on a major metro meeting of my choice next Saturday.

You do not need to get all 5 correct to win, the first correct answer to each individual question qualifies that person as a winner and a share holder in the Quaddie prize.

Entries close at 11.30am Eastern (10.30am Qld) on Boxing Day.[/color]

5. How many bottles of wine will be consumed at Triples place on Boxing Day (hint, probably between 3 to 4 adults)

Any chance of doing a bit of form for this?

1) Will there be any beer or spirits on the premises?
2) Will it be for the duration of the 1st days play in the test match, or longer or shorter?
3) Have any of the 3 or 4 ever been to AA, or convicted of DUI?
4) Any women involved?
5) Will the wine be consumed via the bottle, wine glasses, schooner glasses or thimbles?
6) Will food be also consumed, or is it just a wine fest?

Information compiled from the above will determine whether it'll be 1 to 31 bottles  beer

  Thumb Up

1) 274 (scoring will be difficult, wickets will be constant)
2) Wild Oats (will jump out of the blocks and be in front at midnight, eventually run down by Alfa Romeo)
3) Time Matters (in reference to question 5)
4) Ghetto Blaster (I'll rake up $5 to have on the drum to make it a moral)
5) 15 (strike rate will be around 18 early on before the inevitable sets in)

Thanks Triples  beer

They are always good for sprints---not stayers.
