And Gosford is off.

They must be getting a lot more ran in the southern parts of the Central Coast to us here in the Northern part. I would not have thought we'd had enough to rain out a meeting.

Should have installed a cushion track or transferred it to Toowoomba

They let you out for Christmas, ted?

Good to see they have finally invented a tightjacket that still allows you to type, anyhow.

Why does RISB have a meeting shown for Doomben and Eagle Farm today. When is the R2 to R8 meeting at EF mentioned as for today?

Cancelled prematurely, I'd say, no significant rain since 7 a.m. Think of all that prizemoney saved.  bop After all the drainage work been done there, should have been safe. Bean counter call.

Or alternately Max think of the turnover lost, along with the revenue from a public holiday crowd.

It did look like being a wet day early on; which would mean a poor crowd, fields decimated by scratchings, and much smaller turnover than normal. Too bad if you have a horse that likes the ground. Should only be cancelled if safety the issue, not sub-optimal financial return considerations. Did they have a phantom meeting ? If not, question answered.
