STANDISH HANDICAP - 1200 METRES
Of $200000 and $1500 trophy.  1st $120000 and trophy of $1500, 2nd $36000, 3rd $18000, 4th $9000, 5th $5000, 6th $4000, 7th $4000, 8th $4000.  (GROUP 3).  No Allowances for apprentices.  Field Limit: 16 + 4 EM

If I get the right odds about MINNESOTA SHARK I will be backing him, What more I could not care less what the take out is provided I get the odds I want I will be happy. Oh and of course it wins.

His last two wins have been off Gate 1 including down the straight last start.


I know he drew gate 1 last start, but will be more of a good thing drawn wide

Tricky race.. I'm prepared to risk Here De Angels coz its the straight but that's the only reason. Beltrois should improve again for this though. Itsamonty is capable of running a place at the odds perhaps, although its only short he wont know himself with that weight.

Having said that I think HDA's last straight run can be forgiven.. He was left out in front a bit too early with his 59 and Adashim came through with nothing on his back and only just got him.

So he can win if he draws inside? I assumed your earlier post meant otherwise.

Yeah, but may not get in as good a position from the 1 this time, if he happened to draw there.

I've got a feeling he may become the next big thing on the sprinting scene, always had ability, but judging by last start, they may have found the key to him.

I've gone right off Beltrois I think it can place at best.. I'm going with the favourite here without a great deal of confidence (partly due to the fact that its a straight race), Royal Ida the threat.
