I have a feeling that me and Marky know a little something about Melbourne racing - so if we both think a horse is a good show its probably got a real good chance.

To test out this proposition I thought I'd start up a new challenge. Any horse we both mark (what a pun!) on top will be posted here and we'll have a hypothetical $10 win bet on them on Sportingbet maxi div to see if we actually do know what we are talking about - and to hopefully provide forumites with a few winners.

We'll be kicking off on 1/1/10 - no better day to start!

Brings one of his last two runs and he wins simple as that, nothing will stop him except bad luck in running, he'll be too good. I've got a few little concerns though as to why he might flop (going for 3 on the trot, up to 2000, up in weight) - although I think he can improve again over 2000. Having said that they are only a couple of little queries and he's $2.50 not $1.50 and that's why I think he'll win.  biggrin   beer

Williams got away with the slow tempo here but credit to the horse he deserved that win, great to see for connections really even though the race didnt go our way, has been so honest and deserved it really.

Give us a chance people, Cal tipped in every race, I gave him 4 tips (one of them was Sadalbari obviously) two otherd both won today at double digits - now that's just bad luck.

Tomorrow we'll get back Cal. I can't promise ya what I did today mate but I'll do my best. beer

So, I go down to have a bet on the cricket---and thought---Mmm--Melbourne Mail---what where those 2 horses---I knew one was a fav--and started with C---so I have $30 win on Cheddington---then thought second horse--was around 4.60 and thought it was Good Medicine---so I have $20 win--then had a lazy $20 left--so went all up win on both.

Come back--and saw forum---and $560 later    I am King

I'm all arse tonight.

Lets hope it continues with the M :rant:elb quadd with Calgary.
