Top six in Fixed Odds, let's see how many start

SECESSION
ROULETTES
ELIMBARI
SHES GOT GEARS
STAR WITNESS
SWEET CHEEKS

All but one start, one on third line, one on fourth line of betting, three now out of the window.

I'm warming to Star Witness for some reason

Nearly backed him last night too tears

For some reason I just said to myself he'll be top class over 1400.

Perhaps Tricky Tricky would have ran a race chin lol

Very nice win, but the 3rd horse had no idea either around the turn nor in the straight. Reckon it'll be the best horse still when it learns a bit.

one of these days one of the celebrating jockeys going on like a clown is going to fall off and have the whole field go over them

certainly was i though jocks have to ride a horse to the line and if that horse hadve shied god knows where he wouldve ended up.  Maybe so author but that don't make it right hope it doesn't happen but one day someone will get killed doing it or cause someone else to get killed and then they.ll really want to stop it.

How much will Hall be fined? Is $200 the standard amount? If not it might be $500 for that particular transgression IMO.

From the stewards report

N Hall rider of Star Witness was fined the sum of $500 under the provisions of AR137(c) for his celebratory gesture prior to the winning post.

Maybe the should fine should be based on race prizemoney, not a flat amount? Hall got 10% of the first prize 600k (60k), a couple of grand would've hurt a little more. Maybe, maybe not  chin

And Willow Creek who was third behind Star Witness and Tricky Tricky in that lead up run at Flemington ran 4th today I only just realised.  That form looks top notch, follow Tricky Tricky.
