Top six in Fixed Odds, let's see how many start

SECESSION
ROULETTES
ELIMBARI
SHES GOT GEARS
STAR WITNESS
SWEET CHEEKS

All but one start, one on third line, one on fourth line of betting, three now out of the window.

Great runs by both, but from a Blue Diamond viewpoint I reckon his was the better.

He showed he could settle, and then bring it home.

Maybe she could do the same thing however in this her first run she high-balled it in front.

If she tries the same in the BD will she get peace in front, or will she be left as a sitting shot?

Really they were both very good runs but they are in the past and don't really count from here on, it will be the one that go on from here both should improve but it will be the one that does improve and with young 2 year olds they can go  forward but can go back just as fast,  how can you possibly declare one over the other?? I have a slight preference for the filly but certainly not enough to outlay any hard earned on her, not at the prices on offer now!!

I tried to give my reason, however I based it on the past.

You say you prefer the filly, if we don't count the past, on what do you base your preference?

JWH, I prefered her run yesterday, however as I said it is in the past as is the Colts, can they duplicate it?? even if they are shinsore(depending how shinsore they are) they will probably back up as they only have one 2 year old seasn and it is very hard to resist if you have a chance in a $million race, just saying that a lot of things can go wrong in the next 2 weeks, in the scheme of things if one wins and the other fails you can't go to the Bookie and say "but it was a better run 2 weeks ago" the bookie will still keep your money!!

To correct my sectional analysis, B ran 102.45 /last 600 estimate of 33.6
P ran 102.97/33.98 herself for last 600 as she was leading.
He came home 2 or 3 lengths better in a race which was faster by 3 lengths overall.
Not knocking her, but all she did was face the breeze and she wasn't hassled.
He had to chase in a harder race, admittedly margins but thats what the game is about.
That'll do me.

Reminds me a lot of last year's edition - Rostova Real Saga.. Neither won chin

Think it might be a different story this year though

Leaning toward Ben though, Crystal Lily will give Psychologist a hard time, if not in fact lead her, and the two of em will set it up for Ben if he gets the runs.

On Sydney radio today I think both Ron Dufficy and Dean Lester were refusing to right Secession off - saying it was ridden upside down and the market had overreacted (note that I was distracted by someone at work wanting to talk to me rant so can't be categorical that it was Secession they were talking about)

It's no secret that Secession was killed by running up front.

But if Secession and Songspur punctured so badly why did General Truce keep going?

Beneteau had a wall of horses covering him up on the rail. Getting clear was the hard part, sprinting home for the win was gonna take all the class he had but it was easy with the setup.  beer
