Ok I have put this on one of the forums, but thought I would start a topic to see if there is anyone interested  what

Looking to get a syndicate started 10 shares at $2000 per share and $20 per week there after.  I will retain 1 share so 9 left.  Plan to get a horse from NZ from one of a couple of conacts I have.  The last one I got was Lorenzo Bromac which raced for me for 12 months collecting over $25,000 in prize money in that time.  With all the transport costs and harness racing fees he ended up costing me $15,000 and we sold him after the 12 months for $16,000.  Pretty handy investment and bloody good fun.
I then tried to get my brother and his mates to purchase Willoughby from NZ which they could not get themselves organised.  He cost $20,000 landed in Australia.  He has had 11 starts for 6 wins 2 seconds and 1 third for just over $17,000 in prize money, in just 3 months of racing here (best mile rate).  He sat in the death and won in sub 2 mins at Globe Derby over 2230 Saturday Night, killed them.  I would say he is probably valued around the $20,000 now.

It is a fun sport however I would be lying to you if I did not say that the next horse could break a leg a day before the races and you kiss goodbye to your horse, such is racing.  Anyone interested conact me via email    trusspt@hotmail.com.

nothing wrong with taking on babies mate would be happy to do so.  However I think you are trying to get people to pay up for your horses, which is really exactly what I am doing, looking for owners.
Cheers.

 OWN  A HARNESS HORSE !

We currently have shares available but you'll need to be quick in a filly by leading sire ART MAJOR to be trained by the states leading horseman Paul Fitzpatrick.

The vibes coming from the stable are very positive. The full sister with the stable has a very strong opiniuon on it from Paul. Paul advised that this full sister will be coming to Melbourne for the Breeders Crown next month.

Contact us now to secure your share in an exciting opportunity.

Just saw on trading ring Pembrook Henry is for sale, no figures mentioned but the Peacocks are pretty wise old owls arent they? Why would they be selling this one when he's showing so much?

I can't believe I started this thread and there are actually so many people that watch it
Gees If anyone wants to get involved, let me know and as some have said be very wary of getting involved in high priced horses that have been tried.
My wife, who trains, is looking for another horse.  We can fit a lot more but stop at 2 because we like to give them the personal attention, and we only charge $120 per week plus shoeing and if they are good enough to go to GD then travel.  So if you are after an intersest only let us know.
Oh and by the way I can get my wifes training stats and I am sure they would be right up there with some of the leading trainers, simply because of so few horses and good results.  biggrin

Any of you not yet involved don't get ripped off, and this is not to say In The Know is ripping people off, I don't know who they are.

Oh and by the way, when we work out a horse is good enough to send to someone who charges more and is closer to town we do it.  Thumb Up

lol for you Denzel of course  Thumb Up  but I still think you bloke has plenty of potential (then again lots of horses have potential)  If you are looking at getting rid of him let me know.

Anyone interested in spending $500 to buy 1/5 share in Shipps Bunny.  For sales at $2500 and running at Port Pirie this Sunday I believe.  If he does win you we would get back about $1600 of our money straight away.  Only a 4 year old with wins still to come, but obviously no champ.  I would be 1 so looking for 4 I have a mate thinking about it.  Weekly costs $20 plus shoeing every now and then and petrol costs to the races (about $20 each to pirie and $40 to Globe)
