Ok I have put this on one of the forums, but thought I would start a topic to see if there is anyone interested  what

Looking to get a syndicate started 10 shares at $2000 per share and $20 per week there after.  I will retain 1 share so 9 left.  Plan to get a horse from NZ from one of a couple of conacts I have.  The last one I got was Lorenzo Bromac which raced for me for 12 months collecting over $25,000 in prize money in that time.  With all the transport costs and harness racing fees he ended up costing me $15,000 and we sold him after the 12 months for $16,000.  Pretty handy investment and bloody good fun.
I then tried to get my brother and his mates to purchase Willoughby from NZ which they could not get themselves organised.  He cost $20,000 landed in Australia.  He has had 11 starts for 6 wins 2 seconds and 1 third for just over $17,000 in prize money, in just 3 months of racing here (best mile rate).  He sat in the death and won in sub 2 mins at Globe Derby over 2230 Saturday Night, killed them.  I would say he is probably valued around the $20,000 now.

It is a fun sport however I would be lying to you if I did not say that the next horse could break a leg a day before the races and you kiss goodbye to your horse, such is racing.  Anyone interested conact me via email    trusspt@hotmail.com.

this horse will be around 50k, provided it passes the vet, so any sized share is fine, 1%-5% etc. the trainer isnt decided yet, but would be around 35 a day for the 100% plus extras.

mate im always keen to get in a horse with some good blokes

I have heard of a bloke called Mar..Mara...Marais thats it...I remember someone telling me that he can get them going pretty good every now and then and word on the grapevine is the  "Extras" are well worth it.....

Longneck...Good luck with whatever you do or path you choose but my little warning to you would be to tread carefully with someone thats only posted a handful of times on here and asking you to go in a horse thats worth a bit. I am not making any accusations at all so no one take this the wrong way please. I am just saying do your homework and thats anyone that is thinking of entering into horses with people they don't really know.

Good luck with your purchaces guys...Two is enough for me and they will hopefully get a run at Flemington next week.... lol   Thumb Up   lol

Which part of that statement defames his name?? I wouldn't have a clue what you are talking about or insinuating as without putting in the extra 1%'s then you never get the best out of any horse.

By the way....I find it very funny you know MM but in trying to sell longneck a share you state " Haven't decided on a trainer yet".....That makes alot of sense. Plenty of people go all the way to NZ to pay 50k for a horse before choosing a trainer....That sounds like a pretty normal practice of buying one  what what

your kidding if you weren't insinuating that he dopes horses... please mate you have no idea, the choice of trainers is a choice of which state. the current horses are spread between 6 trainers in 2 states. so maybe you should think before you blast a chance for anybody to get involved in  a very successful syndicate

Easy then....If it is so successful then why sell a share to someone you don't know... Just keep it for yourself...

So someone comes on here saying buy a share in the software programs that are sure to make money and I should sit back and not warn them....Like crap. If you think people are happy to throw money to people they don't know then clearly you are the deluded one.

Someone once said don't fight a pig in mud.......So good luck mate  Thumb Up   Thumb Up

Denzil if Qazxswe is the infamous Hawk/Supaman from Betfair then he will be familar with that quote as it is one of Denis Pagan's favourites. Our riend Hawk owns a lot of successful horses and is a huge wind up merchant. His favourite horse at the moment is Sky Valley and he dislikes Tanabi Bromac,  biggrin

ok so the thread did not work so well, now then I would like to get a horse worth around $5,000 to $15,000 and will train to run around Port Pirie and Globe Derby.
I have mentioned in another thread my wife has her trainers licence and worked under Gary Butler for sometime, so she knows what she is doing and you can all look up her record (and that is all  lol
Trainers fees (becuase of the difference between top trainers and her) are $100 per week, so lets say 10 people at $1,500 intial payment and then $10 per week.

I know, I know, I am wasting my time but if I don't ask I don't know, and lets see how Chief Lakota goes from barrier 6 (outside front) this Saturday. (wifes only horse that she trains)

and can we get over all the drug cheats etc talk pleeease.
