Video Watch I thought I'd start this thread so we can give suggestions of horses to watch in the replays. Often we miss things live but the replays and your eyes are the best form guide tools you can use

I though Saint Encosta was a bit stff in the last at the hill on the weekend. I'll watch the replay again and report back later

Malucky day was unlucky, like most Zabeels he lacks a sprint, he is a grinder, he was held up and ran home well when he got out, changing direction more than once in the straight, he would have been better drawn wide, that is why I never added him to my all up bet, I hope everyone gives up on him, I know I won't be, not many Zabeels rip home quick but they can make a long run and keep rolling, he wasn't given the chance through no fault of Cassidy's just drawn near the rails in a slow run race he was a victim of circumstances, you know he will go better when the races get longer, and I think the second horse will take some beating in the Newcastle Cup on Thursday, the winner has won 3 and run second at his last 4 starts, the horse that beat him was the second horse on Saturday, so I think that was a pretty strong race!!

Missed the kick and kept getting up on heels until taking off well before the turn. Almost hit the lead on the extreme outside of the track before getting tired at his 2nd run back. Nice effort Clothing was also a nice effort on a bias track. Held up badly for a long time. Give her another chance at randwick next start

I forgot last week to put Cosmonaut in the Black Book, he has a bit to learn but the raw ability is there

I'd be interested in anyones elses views on the run of Almas. Quite often you can over read things. To me he was slow to muster speed and was ridden along hard to try and hold a position due to the massive on pace bias. It didn't suit and he seemed quite one paced up the straight but was still coming on at the end to finish just behind the placgetters. watch the replay and let me know, not saying it was atop run but perhaps a forgive run

It looked to me like he copped a check off Manahara just as he was moving into the race.
The stewards report will be worth reading again.

RED COLOSSUS In for good prep i reckon, likes the sting out, be watchful next time out as 3rd up 4th will be the go i think but if he tackles something similar today but over 1400 second he'll go very close. One of the those horses that always seems to be a backable price.

I expect big things from Red C this prep The last General was very good at Newcastle today in the 4th race. Only horse all day to make up a stack of ground
