Well after today's effort I think he deserves his own post.

The theory is you can only win, but of course you can make your opposition look very average - that he did.

He wasn't missed by too many on his debut and followed up today. Gave them a flogging - by 7 lengths. Wasn't flash away, 4L off them at the turn, he just skipped away in the straight.

Interestingly he's not nommed in the Aust Guineas. Surely he'll be nommed for Sydney features.

but fastnet your the expert on here i know nothing about horses but youve been spruiking on here how great linton is but great horses overcome diversity and win he didn't he may become a very good horse but he didn't prove it today hopefully he will and the other one denman will win more than he loses .

Would love to see where i said i was an expert. I also never said you know nothing about horses...  Linton ran a huge race given the speed wasn't on, Denman folded like a deck of cards when the pressure went on. Linton ran home in very good sectionals and would have had to Bernborough to reel them in...given the tempo.

Well, I think he will make a very nice horse, even though he getting beat has cost me a heap--got the last 3 legs of the quaddie going for 50%

I will make 4 observations from the radio call as I have not seen the race yet.

1 Linten is outstanding.

2 Denman will win the All Aged, Doomben 10,000 and Stradbrike treble.

I'll look out for your pointless posts on the Ten Bandannas thread  wink  lol

Pointless is proclaiming a dog the next shootout winner after one start but then claiming the dog needs a big track, then 600m, onto 700m  Undecided you'll have him wanting the 959m soon

What exactly do you bring to the forum Gin? I don't see any intelligent talk from you, only shit stirring? The shootout might have been a bit optimistic but this dog will be a champion and if its over 700m.... so be it.  Anyone can sit behind a screen and bitch and moan and put others down Gin, but until you actually start having an opinion that didn't fall out your ass.. enjoy the banter andy wink

Come to think of it, could'nt be more true. However the shit stirring is more like what I call sniping.
