I worked on the new
unitab.com website and thought it might be helpful if I address some of your comments on this forum personally.
"I wish they didn't use A-Z with the horses in the future markets."
This is indeed a problem and will be one of the first things we fix in the coming days. All future racing markets will be sorted by price. We will also make sure you are able to click on the headings themselves to change sort order on the fly.
"I'm led to believe this new release also removes the problem whereby punters were forced into copping a reduced price on the fixed prices if they changed while in the process of submitting a bet."
That is correct - it will notify you of any price change and require you to resubmit if happy.
"One thing that would be appealing to some would be an option to show gallops only, trots only, dogs only, or all three."
If you click the "-" minus sign next to either Gallops/Trots/Greyhounds on the main "Today's Races" page it will minimise their display. We are looking are finer filtering options in the future.
"One thing I don't like is you can't see the whole program results ,now you need to do it race by race."
This is something we will take on board for a future version.
"I can't even find the Future markets. Where are they?"
We have had this complaint a few times, so we will be bringing out a patch version over the new few days that will split up today's racing and future racing. IE: Instead of a "Racing" tab next to the "Sports" tab, we will have "Today's Racing", "Future Racing" then sport.
"Pleasing to see that they've retained the YESTERDAY link. I think this forum can take credit for having that enhancement tacked on."
