this is something i've not seen before on TATTS tote, someone plunged for a place big time in this South African race, the place pool was triple and double the previous two races, 2 horses were originally paying money back $1 (no 1.04 divs in QLD) only one of them placed, yet the place divs are totally different to what's showing after the race on the website...

seeing all placegetters blew out massively compared to what they were showing, the only possible explanation is, that Tatts tote display dividends assuming the money back horse is placed, and when it bombs out you get the big lift, unlike NSWTAB, where their motto is "give us this day our daily illusions" and display the inflated odds that get heavily shaved when the inevitable happens and the $1.20 win job lobs into a hole. Makes a lot more sense to under-promise and over deliver

What % of their profits does racing provide?

There are still a number of issues with their site, but I've got to give their online customer service a thumbs up.  I had an issue with linking my old Unitab account with my old Golden Casket (lotto) account, and they sorted it out and replied via e-mail in under 15 mins at 7pm tonight.   

I think Tatts tote took a bit more out of the win pool than the normal 15 or so %, money back was the reward for the winner, but add up the %

I reckon it was actually paying about 1.09 so I guess tatts do not have 1.04 as a dividend.

Hhhhmmmm, seems the results page may require an upgrade.......

Won't let me copy and paste but the only options so far are 2008 - 2011 to select from on the results page. Apparently they didn't race yesterday....

You can go back and click on calendar on main racing page but lookls like they have messed up again!

Another example of why they should pay out the correct dividends & not round down.
If it pays $1.09 & someone has $100 on it, they should get back $109 instead of $100.

exactly, before the days of flexi betting they had an excuse, not any more, punters can have 1% of a trifecta and get paid odd cent amounts into their accounts, they must be forced to declare divs to the nearest cent, like $1.09 for a fav for a win OR place, instead of this money back rubbish. And even with sportsbetting they quote prices such as $1.08, so no reason why a horse cant pay $1.08, and spare me the "legislation needs to be changed" excuse 

here's another one at the trots, the big difference here is...the money backer failed to win

No future fixed price markets up as yet with Gold Coast major SEQ raceday today. Poor form! Only getting a market up 10 mins before each race........ 

How is the mobile betting option going there Tatts/Unitab , or whatever you want to call yourself this week?

I see the promised "APP" , which was supposedly coming soon, some 5 months ago, is no longer advertised 

Still, they are the only betting agency which the industry relies on, to refuse a mobile betting option, which ALL recognise as the growth sector.

These guys in charge MUST be sacked!!!!!
