Is there a way I can select what appears in the recent topics box?

I know I can restrict the All Topics option but that doesn't seem to affect the recent topics box on the bottom left of my screen.

It should work with recent preferences mate, if not I will have a look into it

Does this help. Go to your profile, then select "recent posts preferences", and then tick off what you do want to see.

That doesn't seem to work on the recent topics box.

I already had Soap Box and ITN unticked and I still see those topics in the recent topics box.
