Yep hard to get excited about isn't it.

I had to go back and have a look at the form of La Rocket, I remember him impressing me one day at MV but never at this level.

Probably the timing is no good, but if I had a decent wfa type over in NZ some of these races would be ripe for the picking.

he's a horse i track because can put in a good performance - but last start miss maren swept past him off a much slower speed - the biggest shock i got was when i saw it wasn't paying 50/1 when the tote odds flashed up

Well my father just rang me to tell me he got the quaddie.

First thing I said to him was how the hell did you find La Rocket.  lol

Field?  lol

nah he takes 4 in each leg each week for $25(gives him just under 10%).

does Syd and Melbourne, his only bets each week.

after today and from what he has got back earlier this year he has already covered the cost of his bets for the year.

Although he might splurge and have $50 on the cup.  lol

That was the race for Heart of Dreams and couldn't pickup La who. Changingoftheguard was fairly hopeless.
Possibly the best horse didn't race, Speed Gifted, but Richard Freedman said a few times today it was scratched because Lee wants a wet track for him(thought Caulfield was a tad hard). Maybe Sydney then.
