I'm talking about ease of use, not logging on to the normal site and going through every step like i'm on a pc or laptop.
Which companies out there have an iphone application or a slimmed down site that is better suited to mobile phones? I know of tab.mobi but what else is there?

I don't have an iphone, but use betfair mobile on my Sony Ericsson phone.
Easy to log in and place a bet. Obviously relies on internet coverage, which in turns effects speed. Don't leave placing a bet to the last minute!

I've been using ibetmate for a couple of weeks. Links in to Betfair. It's not an official Betfair product but it works great. Maybe that's why? Quick, simple, reliable and at $6 bucks is a no-brainer for betting on the move.

What about http://tab.mobi? It's pretty good on the iPhone, and even better on Windows Mobile.

The TAB have just released an iPhone app for tote betting on the races in NSW and VIC pools. Looks pretty good. http://bit.ly/9CJSWe

PW - I think you might be right. Betfair and others (Ladbrokes / Will Hill) have "web apps" but no one has end-to-end betting via a native app.

I've been told dynamicraceodds.com will have an app available in about 2 weeks. Just undergoing some testing apparantly.
For those not familiar it enables you to bet with basically every corporate and tote throughout Australia via the one screen (Betfair excluded).
Will be fantastic when it comes on.

ibetmate has been out since early January. It's built off the betfair API so it's not "official" but it sure beats the "world first" TAB app. Pleeeaase.

I quite liek the tab app, other than the no Interim Results thats very annoying but it runs quicker than the tab site itself on an iphone
