I dunno if there's already a thread for such stuff.
If so, please merge this one with it.

Just heard about a lady who rang 911 and still got 000.
Are they the same these days?
Seems like a good idea if that is true as the kids see 911 all the time on TV.

Prydes could offer me a minimum of 1 pallet. But they directed me to their distributor who was most helpful. In Qld they're handed by Crazy Clarke's, Reject Shop, and Sam's.
Went to the local CC and bought them out. Note they're 99% fat-free. But don't mention the sugar.
Another success story for the Forum. [ ERROR: SPECIFIED ATTACHMENT MISSING ] [ ERROR: SPECIFIED ATTACHMENT MISSING ]

Lollies are almost a thing of the past for me due to the sugar, but when I was eating them some of the jelly type ones you got from Sams and Crazy Clarks didn't seem to have much flavour. mainly into the barley sugar these days for when I walk too far and the sugar level gets too low. I really love those licorice allsorts and they are very tempting. Cherry Ripes were also a favorite , but alas no more.

But gratlog "barley sugar" is virtually neat sugar.
Understand that you have some dietary constraints. The trick is to eat carbohydrate (= sugar) that requires a bit of digestion (bran bread, e.g.), rather that stuff that brings immediate absorption (such as a sugary drink).

Yes that is why I take the barley sugar. If my sugar level drops too low when out walking, I just pop a barley sugar and it gives me the energy to get home. Not the right thing to do maybe , but it works. Very rarely needed. For fathers day, Big W had a big tin of licorice allsorts for around $20 and my son wanted to buy it for me. Might have made me a little crook

Anyone collect anything.
I collect pens. Got another couple in the post today.
Except for a three, nothing expensive.
Mainly those pens with sponsors names on . Todays were from my grandkids. A Legacy one and the yellow Daffodil one. As I say nothing expensive but it is a bit of fun.
One that I still use most days for my crossword puzzles is one my wife gave me when we got married and that was 42 years back. probably a miracle that I haven't lost it.

One more question.
When I got this new computer and it had Windows 7, I noticed outlook express didn't work with that.
I was put onto Mozilla Thunderbird for all my mail.
Seems to work OK but is that what others use as well?
