Good to see such strong noms for a Group 1 1600m race. This race has copped a bagging in previous years but this year looks a classic.

Looking forward to seeing how Speed Gifted goes first up. A potential autumn star?

Well Lee looks like getting a track with at least some give in it given the weather and forecast. He'd be praying for another autumn like the last couple in terms of weather!

Do you consider it a vintage mile line up ?

I wouldn't think it gets near this seasons Futurity in terms of milers.

Are their many genuine miler around, i mean that their trainers think they are too, Personally think Whobe is. I think Rangi genuinely enjoys the mile but can get further does that make him not a miler?

Completely different topic, if  a bog track who would you prefer to have your money on Purple or V & P?

Must be Danleigh's turn to start favourite and Rangirangdoo's to win.

Pity I will be away this weekend as I would have loved to head out.

I love Warwick Farm.

This race and this track have the potential to throw out a spanner or two.

I backed Daneligh last start but he only averages one win every now and again. Rangi is the obvious danger but I'm also thinking he may be a 50/50 chance.

This is the type of race I can see going the way of a runner such as Placio De Cristal, Roman Emperor, or Vision and Power.

When you suggest strong miler, does that include the Epsom or Doncaster winners or are they pretend mile winners over a pretend distance of a mile?

There was a lot to take out of his last run. Problem is the predicted rain for Friday and Saturday.

Touch wood though it doesn't eventuate.

There doesn't appear to be much early money for  any Syd or Mel races at this stage.
Guess everyone is unsure of whats going to happen weather wise.
